Just a quick post before I haul myself home for the weekend to recover from a major doozy of a cold!
A recent find at Kitaro is now one of my favorite treats: green tea panna cotta! This dessert combines the almond-y bittersweetness of matcha with the gorgeous creaminess of a classic Italian dessert. It’s light, creamy, and just the thing to brighten up your day. The only thing I would change about it is the bunch of chocolate chips marring the pastel-green surface; maybe a bit of tea-flavored syrup or plain whipped cream would have been a better choice. This treat goes for P 48.00 a cup – and you get a rather generous portion that should be savored slowly and happily.
