Han Pao (or How to Feed Eight Hungry People Properly)

What does one feed a hungry group of eight people who have spent much of their Sunday afternoon hauling crates of giveaways, boxes of office supplies, and prepping up a golf course for the company’s annual tournament? It’s the sort of quandary we had on Sunday night when eight of us went over to the Wack-Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong to get ready for the company tourney which was held the following day. While burgers and fries (or fried chicken and mashed potatoes) would be the obvious choice, we wanted something more substantial. It was a good thing someone remembered that our hotel was located along Shaw Boulevard; that meant we could grab take-away at Han Pao.
