This is the Valrhona Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Tart from Sonja’s Cupcakes. ‘Tis a small piece, but it sure packs a punch in the flavor department. The creamy interior was lush and toothsome, studded with bits of roasted hazelnut. The ganache on top had a rather chewy, almost caramel-ly bite to it; very good, in my honest opinion.
The crust, alas, was a tad too crumbly for my taste. Crust notwithstanding, this was still a fine way to stave off the blues on a summer afternoon.
