A Fishy Feast

Down East Fisherman's Platter

I apologize for the blurry pic.  I was already shaking with hunger at the time the food arrived, so my hands were trembling as I snapped the pic!

Anyways, the season of Lent is upon us once more and fasting and abstinence from eating meat are again de rigeur.  But if you’re craving for something good and greasy but still want to stick to abstinence, you’ll want this: TGIFriday’s Down East Fisherman’s Platter.

You get a fish stick, batter-fried prawns, calamari, and a mound of crisp fries.  It’s that simple, it’s quite good, and it brings you back to your senses after fasting for most of the day.

Strawberry Lemonade

Wash it down with copious amounts of strawberry lemonade and you’re all set. 😉
